1. About Area 52

Area 52 ("we," "us," or "our") is a cybersecurity firm headquartered in McLean, Virginia. We provide managed security services including executive digital protection (Overwatch Exec), threat monitoring, OSINT, and related cybersecurity services to businesses and executives.

These Terms govern your interactions with Area 52 through our website (a52.io), phone, SMS, and email communications.
 

2. Our Services

Area 52 offers the following services:

  • Overwatch Exec — $440/month per executive. Full managed digital protection including data broker suppression, dark web monitoring, and reputation protection.

  • Managed Security Services — Continuous threat monitoring, endpoint protection, network monitoring, and incident response.

  • OSINT and OPSEC Consulting — Open source intelligence collection and operational security advisory.
     

Service terms for individual engagements are governed by separate service agreements entered into with each client.
 

3. SMS Program Terms

Program Name: Area 52 Executive Outreach

Description: Area 52 sends SMS messages to business professionals who have expressed interest in our services following initial phone contact.

Message Frequency: Varies. Typically 1-3 messages per outreach sequence.

Message and data rates may apply.

To opt out at any time, reply STOP. You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages will be sent.

4. Acceptable Use

By engaging with Area 52 through any channel, you agree not to:

  • Misrepresent your identity or authority

  • Use our services for unlawful purposes

  • Interfere with our communications infrastructure
     

5. Disclaimers

Area 52 services are provided based on information available at the time of service delivery. We do not guarantee specific outcomes from data broker suppression or dark web monitoring, as these are ongoing and dynamic processes. We do not guarantee the removal of all personal information from all data broker sites.
 

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Area 52 and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or reliance on our services or communications.
 

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts of Fairfax County, Virginia.
 

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent update. Continued engagement with Area 52 after updates constitutes acceptance.
